About
I've spent my career at the intersection of complexity and communication — helping organizations find the story, build the narrative, and lead through innovation in a way that earns trust, inspires clarity, and moves people forward.

The Story
I launched Made With Care Strategies because I kept seeing the same gap. Organizations were moving faster than their people could keep up with — new tools, new pressure, more noise every quarter. There was no shortage of research or resources. What was missing was translation, structure, and a human-centered approach to adoption.
MWCS is my way of bringing clarity, calm, and strategy to a moment that's moving too fast. I believe the future of work needs a different voice — not urgency, not hype, not productivity pressure. The leaders I most admire aren't talking about endless output. They're talking about a new era: one where progress finally gives humans back something we've been running out of. Time. Space for self-care. Room for creativity. That's the future worth building toward — and it's the one I help organizations move into.
My career spans 20+ years — starting as Director of Marketing for a regional homebuilder, then more than a decade leading communications, content, and change strategy at the intersection of emerging technology and organizational transformation for the Federal Reserve. I've guided leaders and institutions through some of the most complex narratives in finance and innovation — from generative AI and automation to digital finance and quantum computing — at enterprise scale. I've earned the Federal Reserve System IT Excellence Award two years in a row for advancing enterprise AI enablement and adoption. I hold a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University and am a Certified Change Practitioner through Prosci.
My through-line has always been the same: turning complexity into clear, compelling human language that helps organizations earn trust, achieve real outcomes, and navigate what's next with clarity.
"The future of work needs a different voice...not urgency, not hype, not productivity pressure. A voice with clear, compelling human language that helps organizations earn trust, achieve real outcomes, and navigate what's next with clarity."
Spotlight: When It Comes To AI
Every organization I encountered was asking the same question: how do we actually do this? Not "what is AI" — they had that. Not "should we adopt it" — the pressure was already there. What they were missing was someone who could sit at the intersection of the technology, the people, and the narrative — and help them move through it with intention.
That's the work I've been doing for so many years. MWCS is just the form it takes now — available to organizations who need it, built on the philosophy that speed without sanity isn't progress.
The Problem
Organizations are being pressured to adopt AI faster than their people, culture, or communications infrastructure can absorb.
What's Missing
Not more tools. Not more research. Translation, structure, and a human-centered approach to change that actually sticks.
What MWCS Does
Brings clarity, calm, and senior-level strategy to organizations navigating AI adoption, innovation, and transformation — with the people at the center of it.
Beyond the Work
I am equal parts strategist and creative — and I've never seen those as opposites. Outside of client work, I'm a mother, a host, a student of wine and the decorative arts, and someone who believes deeply that how we gather, eat, and live together matters as much as how we work.
My husband and I own a restaurant and catering business in Ashland, Virginia, and I hold a WSET Level 2 wine certification. I've studied architectural history and the decorative arts — even presenting original research on my findings. I've been an antiques dealer. I've thrown the kinds of dinners people talk about for years.
I'm also a mother — and that's not incidental to this work. It's the reason I built MWCS the way I did. I want the flexibility to be fully present — for clients, and for my family. That kind of intentionality is woven into everything here.

What We Stand For
These aren't wall words. They're the principles that shape how we work, what we take on, and what we won't compromise on — for any client, at any stage.
We don't add to the noise. Every engagement is designed to cut through complexity and give people the language, structure, and direction they need to move forward with confidence.
We take this work seriously because the people inside organizations are real people with real stakes. We show up with rigor, attention, and genuine investment in outcomes — not just deliverables.
This isn't templated work. Every strategy, every piece of communication, every client touchpoint is built by hand for the organization in front of us — because craftsmanship is what makes strategy actually stick.
Fast isn't always better. We believe in moving at the pace that produces lasting change — the pace humans are actually designed for. Not the pace that satisfies urgency. Thoughtful, human-centered implementation outlasts rushed rollouts every time.
Technology exists to serve people — not the other way around. Every strategy we build starts with the human experience and works outward from there. This is non-negotiable.
We don't need to be the loudest voice in the room. We bring depth, credibility, and calm to complex moments — and let the quality of the work speak for itself.
